Do more with Troop 599.

A large, outing-oriented BSA troop in Houston's Memorial area since 1967. We are well attended, well equipped, well supported, and a whole lot of fun, helping scouts build leadership, Scouting, and life skills along the way.

A large, outing-oriented, boy-led troop.

Founded in 1967, Troop 599 runs 100 to 120 scouts strong, supported by 80 to 100 trained adult volunteers. We are well attended, well equipped, and well supported, with 9 to 10 outings throughout the SBISD school year and the gear to back them up.

It is a boy-led troop, so there is always a leadership role for a scout to step into and earn rank, building leadership, Scouting, and life skills (and having a lot of fun) along the way. New families are always welcome to visit on a Tuesday night.
