Please come and visit a meeting on Tuesday evening at 7:30 to 8:30 pm in the Scout Lodge behind Memorial Drive United Methodist Church at 12955 Memorial Drive.

Weekly meetings are on Tuesday evenings during the school year.
The Main Troop Meeting is 7:30– 8:30pm in the Scout Lodge.

First Class Emphasis (FCE) program for new scouts is from 6:30 to 7:30 in the Youth Lounge on 2nd floor of MDUMC Family Life Center.

The main meeting often has a guest speaker.  In the past, guest speakers include: SWAT, a Falconer, a NASA engineer, etc.  The meeting before each camp out is devoted to patrol corners where the boys plan the menu, duty roster for their patrol, etc.  The monthly newsletter and weekly email provide advance notice of meeting topics.

Our Open House is the 2nd Tuesday in November.  Our King Ranch Rendezvous outing is scheduled annually for the weekend prior to Thanksgiving at the private King Ranch (not "The King Ranch" in south Texas) located Northeast of Lockhart, Texas.   Based on a Mountain Man Rendezvous and Old West theme, the outing is highlighted by: instruction in Archery, Black Powder Rifles, .22 Rifles, Skeet Shooting, Tomahawk throwing and Skill/Pioneering events. Per BSA policy, Webelos will participate in BB gun and other skill events in lieu of Skeet Shooting, Black Powder or 22 Rifles. Adults should come prepared to participate in all events as well. A complete buffet style Texas Barbecue dinner (cooked on site) will be provided Saturday evening for all Webelos, Scouts, parents, staff and Troop guests (over 250 people in all). Then, Saturday evening we will have a big bonfire, weather permitting. Scout Patrols and Webelos Dens will each be responsible for presenting a skit and/or a song for the festivities.
